She never had biological children, but adopted several. One in particular, Jean Claude Baker, would go on to tell her legacy. Josephine died in 1975. IPola Negri was a Polish stage and film actress who achieved worldwide fame during the silent and golden eras of Hollywood and European film for her tragedienne and femme fatale roles. Born 1897 and died 1987, she married twice and never had children. She had a long-term relationship with "Latin Lover" movie star, Rudolph Valentino, until his death in 1926.
